972 UG, 265 PG students receive degrees at KLS GIT graduation

BELAGAVI

KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (KLS GIT), Belagavi, an autonomous institute under VTU, Belagavi, celebrated its 8th Graduation Day on Saturday. 972 Undergraduate (UG) and 265 Postgraduate (PG) students comprising a large number of students from Goa received their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at the function that was held at the Silver Jubilee Auditorium of the institute.

Chairman of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Prof T G Sitharam, in his address appealed students to harness their skills and knowledge for nation-building. He also encouraged all to use new technologies and keep updated with new world needs. “ Move towards starting as an entrepreneur as AICTE also supports new start-ups. Indian students are best and smartest but they should believe in themselves,” he urged.

Founder and CEO of Saankhya Labs, Bengaluru  Parag Naik delivered the Alumni Orientation, sharing his journey and motivating graduates to aim for innovation and excellence.

Rajendra Belgaumkar, Chairman of the Governing Council welcomed the gathering. D M S Patil, Principal of KLS GIT, highlighted the institution's achievements and presented the college report. KLS President Anant Mandgi, emphasized the legacy of KLS institutions in fostering academic and professional brilliance.

Pradeep Sawkar, Chairman, Karnatak Law Society, Ram Bhandare, D V Kulkarni, Vice Presidents; V G . Kulkarni and S V Ganachari and others were present.

Medals, certificates, and awards were conferred on meritorious students.
