Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization at the Vatican, released the book authored by Dr Fr Adrian Fernandes SFX titled ‘The Social Dynamism of Catholic Education with a special reference to India.’

Other ecclesiastical dignitaries present were Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrão (Archbishop of Goa and Daman), Archbishop Leopoldo Girelli (Apostolic Nuncio to India and Nepal), Bishop of Baroda Sebastiao Mascarenhas, Bishop Emeritus of Port Blair Alexio Dias, Fr Nazareth Fernandes (Superior General of the Society of Pilar), and Superior Generals of Societies of Apostolic Life from across the world.
Fr Adrian who has worked as a missionary in North India and has a Ph.D. with summa cum laude in Social Sciences from the Pontifical Gregorian University, Rome, explained that the book elaborates on the universal and foundational aspects of Catholic education, while succinctly presenting the educational vision and efforts of the church towards common good and solidarity.
