As the eighth Legislative Assembly session begins its second session on July 11 at 11.30 and will have 25 sittings, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has appealed to the people of Goa to submit their questions which they want AAP MLAs to raise in the Assembly.
In their appeal, AAP has requested citizens to mail their questions at ‘[email protected]’ or to visit the AAP office in Panaji near Mahalaxmi temple before June 17.
AAP Goa chief Amit Palekar along with both AAP MLAs assured to demand a solution to those issues from the government. The one-month-long session will have six non-working days -- July 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and August 7.
The ballot of the starred and un-starred questions for that day will be conducted at 4 pm. The members will deposit the notices of starred and un-starred questions by 1 pm. The number of starred LAQ notices is restricted to three and un-starred LAQ is 15 each. These can be tabled either online or in paper form.
The schedule for the receipt of notices and holding the ballot of notices of starred and un-starred questions during the second session of the eighth Goa Legislative Assembly is out on the website and the public can view the list of concerned departments as well as the ministers that are holding these portfolios.
