AAP sends letter to PMO

PANAJI

Aam Aadmi Party has appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take his scheduled interaction with Goa’s healthcare workers seriously, and not allow CM Pramod Sawant to use it as an opportunity to save his own skin.

In a press release, AAP State Convenor Rahul Mhambre cautioned: “After the recent replacement of the incompetent Chief Ministers in Uttarakhand and Gujarat, CM Pramod Sawant is now worried about his chair after his multiple failures on Covid management, jobs, economy, law and order, mining, Mhadei, education in Goa. Sawant is trying to fool his high command with propaganda such as claims of 100% vaccination, and stage-managed events such as PM's interaction, but Modiji should be aware of the reality in Goa.”

Mhambre said the party has sent to the PMO the news articles related to Covid warriors, including issues raised by associations themselves such as GARD and IMA which tried desperately to raise critical issues about the government's handling of Covid.

Mhambre informed in the letter to the PM highlights the various instances of indignities and injustice meted out by the government to the state’s Covid warriors over the past 18 months.

Mhambre stated that Goans expect PM Modi to enquire about these issues when he interacts with Goa’s healthcare workers.
