The Aam Aadmi Party made its presence felt on Wednesday in the twin constituencies of Cuncolim and Velim, in its bid to reach out to the people of the two constituencies.
After series of meetings in Benaulim and leading the agitation in Seraulim against the western bypass, the party had two meetings near Cuncolim bus stand and later in Chinchinim which was attended by more than 150 workers and sympathizers.
The meeting co-ordinated by local convener Gerson Gomes was addressed by AAP leaders.
AAP leader Ernesto Moraes gave a presentation about the party's constitution, while AAP convenor, Rajeshree Nagarsekar, explained about the presence of AAP in Goa and its working in the state.
AAP general secretary and observer for Goa, Pankaj Guptha, spoke about the achievements of AAP government in Delhi and later answered the queries of the people on various subjects.
Interestingly, AAP leaders said that the former Ambelim sarpanch, Engineer Cruz Silva was present at the meeting.
