Even as the panel of councillors has been dissolved after its tenure was completed, an administrator has taken over the council.
Gurudas Pilankar joined as administrator on Monday .
Speaking to the media, Pilankar said that people need not worry as all works of the council related to people would be carried out through the administrator. Pilankar said there was fear in the minds of people regarding garbage collection and assured them that with the dissolving of the council nothing will change and all works would be carried out systematically.
