A no confidence motion moved against Adpai-Durbhat Panchayat Sarpanch Kshipra Adpaikar was passed with six votes on Wednesday.
A few days ago, four panch members, Deepa Naik, Krishna Naik, Shivdas Gawade and Chandan Naik had proposed the vote of no confidence against Adpaikar, alleging that the Sarpanch was not taking other members into confidence.
Adpaikar was absent during the meeting and so two more members joined the earlier four, to sign the vote of no confidence.
PONDAA two-wheeler rider had a narrow escape on Wednesday after two trucks met with an accident at the Khandepar junction. Presence of mind saved Suhas Talekar from Kavalem, after he leaped from his scooter to avoid the trucks.
