The Deputy Sarpanch of Aldona Shakrudini Polle along with panchayat members held a token protest against irregular presence of secretary in the panchayat.
"People who come for their work in the panchayat have to return home due to absence of panchayat secretary," said Polle.
The panchayat had scheduled an inspection on Friday but since the secretary did not turn up they had to cancel the inspection.
Incidentally, the current ruling panchayat group is aligned to former Tivim MLA Kiran Kandolkar.
