MAPUSA The plan to build a by-pass road from Corjuem Bridge to Nachinola has been pushed even further, as the process to acquire land has lapsed. In response to a question tabled by Aldona MLA Glenn Ticlo in the assembly, PWD Minister Sudin Dhavalikar said that Section IV published for land acquisition for the proposed by-pass road from Corjuem bridge to Nachinola had lapsed for want of CRZ clearance from Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority. The government had proposed to build the by-pass road due to traffic congestion on the main district road in Aldona village. To another question of the local MLA, the PWD minister informed that work of the new Aldona bus-stand and centralize complex for various government offices was under process.
