The Anti Narcotic Cell of Goa Police conducted a raid in the wee hours of Monday near the parking lot of St Diogos Church in Guirim, Bardez and nabbed accused Mitlesh Das (21) of Camurlim with 1.100 kg ganja worth approximately Rs 1.1 lakh in the international market.
The accused is an electrician by profession and is a native of Samastipur, Bihar.
The suspected narcotic substance has been attached under panchanama along with other articles.
The accused has been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
Further investigation is in progress.
