Another major reshuffle in police dept

PANAJI
The Goa Police ordered the transfer of 781 personnel across the State in one of its biggest reshuffles this year.
The transfers, the department said, are a routine exercise to streamline deployment and strengthen policing across units.
Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs), Lady Police Sub-Inspectors (LPSIs), Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASIs), Head Constables (HCs), Police Constables (PCs) and Drivers are among those transferred, with personnel posted to various police stations and specialised units.
The latest reshuffle comes just over a month after the Police Establishment Board transferred 195 personnel across the State. However, that exercise had witnessed delays in implementation, with several personnel continuing in their previous postings due to manpower constraints and operational requirements.
