Porvorim Rising has invited applications from meritorious students of the Porvorim constituency who appeared for the Class 10 and 12 examinations conducted by the Goa Board in March–April 2025, for a felicitation programme to honour academic excellence.
Porvorim Rising regularly organises various initiatives for the welfare of society, and the felicitation of outstanding students is one such initiative. This programme is held every year with the aim of encouraging students to strive for success.
Students who have passed the Class 10 or 12 exams with more than 75% marks will be honoured at this event. The purpose is not only to recognise academic achievers but also to inspire other students by celebrating their peers’ success. This initiative was conceptualised by Tourism Minister and Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte.
Students who have scored over 75% in Class 10 or 12 from Socorro, Salvador do Mundo, and Penha de França panchayat areas are eligible to apply. Applications must be submitted by 20 May 2025, along with a copy of the marksheet and proof of residence in Porvorim.
