Saying that the season of Christmas is a season of great joy, Archbishop Filipe Neri Ferrao has said that people will be able to carry the spirt of Christmas in their everyday life if they walk the path of love, a love that is selfless, caring, sharing and sacrifice.
Addressing the Christmas Fiesta 2017 organized by the Diocesan Society of Education in association with the department of Art and Culture, the Archbishop said "if we walk the path of love that is selfless, sacrifice, caring and sharing, then we will be able to celebrate Christmas not just on Decembe 25, but the spirit of Christmas will remain in our everyday life. We will be able to build bridges of love nad peace, a Christmas that does not end on December 25, but will continue everyday in our lives".
He said the season of Christmas is a season of great joy, saying that this joy is reflected in the outfits, decorations, cribs etc, while underlining the need to share this joy because of the birth of a child, who was sent by God to reach out to the children, young and the old, sick and the suffering.
