According to Vasco Police, the five naval personnel had applied for bail in the Sessions Court Margao on Monday and though the hearing was on Wednesday, order was kept on hold.
Police said as per the order that was out on Thursday, the five naval personnel are granted bail.
The five naval personnel are directed to furnish a personal bond of Rs 25,000 each and they should report to Vasco Police station for next 10 days from 9 am to 1 pm.
It may be recalled that on October 18, the five naval personnel had allegedly assaulted Atul Dicholkar at Chicalim and later produced Dicholkar at Vasco Police station.
