At 106, UHC Panaji tops list of active Covid cases

The Directorate of Health Services on Wednesday detected 69 new cases of Covid-19 from among the 1,491samples tested in the last 24 hours. The daily positivity rate stood at 4.6 per cent.

The total confirmed cases of the infection in Goa have now touched 55,607 out of which 54,130 have recovered.

Presently, 675 cases are still active. Of these, a total of 106 active cases are under Urban Health Centre (UHC) Panaji. With this, UHC Panaji now has the highest number of active Covid cases under it. UHC Margao is close at the heel with active cases under it reducing slightly from 103 to 84.
