Goa Tourism bagged the 'Best State for Water Sports for the year 2016' award by PATWA Safari India South Asia Travel Awards. The award was received by Valsala Vijayan, Resident Commissioner, Goa Sadan from K B Kachru, Chairman Emeritus and principle advisor of South Asia, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. The event was held at Ashoka Hotel, New Delhi.

Teacher's Day celebrated at Divar PANAJI: Teachers’ Day was celebrated by the students of Our Lady of Divar High School, Divar on September 2. Children organized a variety entertainment programme in honour of the teachers. The function began with a morning assembly by SSC students.
