Ayur Raksha kit launched for Covid patients isolated at home

The Goa Ayurvedic Medical Association has launched an Ayur Raksha kit for the benefit of Covid-19 patients who are in home isolation.

The kit contains Ayurvedic medicines which are chosen specifically to work on symptoms of infected patients. Also, it contains gargling medicine, inhalation drops and dhoop to keep the home environment clean.

The kit was launched in the presence of President Dr Dharmendra Prabhudesai, Treasurer Dr Nitin Manjrekar, General Secretary Dr Sneha Bhagwat and expert committee Dr Upendra Dixit.

The kit has to be strictly taken under the guidance of Ayurvedic doctor and the doctor will monitor the patient’s progress. If any specific symptoms are there then the doctor will give the necessary treatment. There is also an expert committee under whose guidance the treatment will be followed up. The expert committee comprises of Dr Upendra Dixit, Dr Prathamesh Karpe, Dr Pranav Bhagwat from Gomantak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya and other expert doctors.

The price of the kit it Rs 800/- for 2 weeks .

It also contains home isolation chart and dietary guidance which is very much necessary in infected condition.

The Association has urged people to avail the benefits of this kit by approaching the nearest registered Ayurvedic doctor and help themselves in getting cured or remain Asymptomatic in the first stage of infection. If the treatment is started on time it can prevent the patients from landing in hospitals and also paying huge bills, the Association added.
