Two months after the Zilla Panchayat election in which the Aam Aadmi Party lost the Benaulim seat, MLA Venzy Viegas visited Fatrade in Varca to launch a Health Care unit. He said he remains committed to the welfare of all, irrespective of voting patterns.
The unit has a 24x7 Emergency Care Centre, a dialysis centre and a dental OPD. Venzy said his fight with the government helped bring better facilities to Benaulim.
He said that although the party did not win in Fatrade and some suggested shifting the project, he kept it there as he is responsible for everyone’s health needs.
Venzy added that he has stayed with the party and, from the opposition, will continue fighting for Benaulim and Goa. He said he would work to improve services and win people’s trust.
