Union Minister of State for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shripad Naik, announced on Sunday that a dedicated building for the Bhandari community, Bhandari Bhavan, will be constructed in Pilerne.
Naik mentioned that the Chief Minister has assured his support for the project and the acquisition of approximately 5,000 square meters of land needed for the construction is nearing completion.
The announcement was made during an event in Mapusa, where meritorious students from the Bhandari Samaj were felicitated, and Shripad Naik was honoured for being elected from North Goa for six consecutive terms.
