Goa CM Dr Pramod Sawant on Sunday afternoon flagged off a bike rally with the national flag at Sada in the Mormugao constituency, in view of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The bike rally was flagged off in the presence of Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar, and the rally started from Amonkar’s office at Sada.
The CM Dr Pramod Sawant also participated in the rally, which was organised by the BJP Yuva Morcha, and moved on a bike with a national flag in the area of Sada and other parts of the Mormugao constituency along with MLA Sankalp Amonkar.
“I welcome all the large number of karyakartas and members of the Yuva Morcha present here for the Tiranga Bike Rally. PM Narendra Modi has a vision for Vikasit Bharat in the year 2047 and he has a vision for the next 25 years. We must all know the great history and rich heritage of the country. During the independence of the country, we know that Pakistan was also born, but without the values of Nation First, we see their current status. In India, we still have the sentiment that the nation comes first, and we can continue the sentiment by offering respects to the Tiranga and having it on every house during Independence Day. The people must respect the nation and national flag and hoist it in their houses, and to inculcate these emotions in the minds of the youth, we have organised this Tiranga Bike Rally,” Sawant said.
“We have got a tremendous response for the rally in the Mormugao constituency,” he added.
