Bike stolen in Canacona
CANACONA: A two-wheeler has been stolen from outside the KTC bus stand at Canacona.
According to Canacona police, Sandesh Pagi stated that his motorcycle (GA-09-C-2246) was stolen where it was parked in an open place outside the KTC stand.
Police registered an offence against unknown culprits and is investigating the case.
Several motorcyclists park their two-wheelers outside the bus stand and avail of bus services to and from their destinations.
Burglary at Canacona
CANACONA: Goods and cash worth over Rs 1.16 lakh were burgled from the house of a retired teacher at Canacona.
In his police complaint, Krishnand Salunke stated that burglars entered into his house by breaking and opening the main iron gate and main door of the house and decamped with gold ornaments worth Rs 87,000 and cash of Rs 29,000.
Canacona police is investigating the case.
