‘Shrimati’ an initiative introducing biodegradable, reusable and environmental-friendly sanitary pads was launched in Canacona on Tuesday.
The event, organised by the Women and Child Development Department in collaboration with ASSOCHAM, Goa, was inaugurated by Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar.
Others present on the occasion included Poinguinim Sarpanch and Headmistress of Shree Balram Residential High School, Amone-Poinguinim Savita Tawadkar, Shristhal Sarpanch Sejal Gaonkar, ASSOCHAM Goa Director Dipali Naik, ASSOCHAM Goa Chairperson Pallavi Salgaonkar, Axzora Director Abhishek Guli, Axzora Advisor Gautam Kharangate and Ethernet Xpress MD Sagar Govekar.

BJP South-Goa Secretary Manuja Naik Gaonkar, Shristhal Panch Akshata Velip, Cotigao Panch Vrunda Velip along with several Anganwadi teachers and workers were present on the occasion.
