"BJP only cares for votes and neglects the minorities," stated Khan.
Addressing a news conference at Valpoi, Khan appealed to the minorities to vote for Congress candidate, Roy Naik. He ruled out the support of the minorities from Valpoi constituency to the BJP.
"Valpoi constituency is the bastion of the Congress and it will continue to remain so even in the future," said Khan expressing confidence that all minority votes will go to the Congress candidate.
"The BJP candidate has failed to develop this constituency in many ways. The development that has taken place in Valpoi was during Congress rule - the BJP has neglected the constituency in the last five years," said Khan.
"The Valpoi Congress candidate is capable of winning the by-election with a huge margin of votes," he said.
