The chief spokesman of the Goa Forward Party, Trajano D’Mello on Saturday said that the central observers of the BJP who are scheduled to arrive in the State on Sunday will hold discussions with party leader and Town and Country Planning Minister Vijai Sardesai.
“BJP central observers are coming tomorrow (Sunday)... they will disclose and discuss plans with our leader Vijai Sardesai,” D’Mello said. D’Mello, however, said there is no vacancy for CM’s post at present. “As of today there is no vacancy and all things are hypothetical. We have nothing to think about. Manohar Parrikar continues to be the chief minister of Goa,” said D’Mello.
The BJP had deferred sending observers to assess the local situation by a day. Instead of Saturday, as revealed by Sardessai on Friday, the observers are now expected to arrive on Sunday afternoon.
