BMC to initiate stringent action against bread sellers

BICHOLIM

Bicholim Municipal Council (BMC) Chairperson Satish Gaonkar said the council has decided to take stringent action against those bread sellers who stand on the road and block the entire access to the people and vehicles.

Addressing local reporters, Goankar said the number of bread sellers from outside Goa is increasing in Bicholim town.

“Though the people do not have to go in search of bread elsewhere due to availability of bread sellers at a particular place, the matter is of concern as bread sellers stand on the road and block access to the people and vehicles,” said Gaonkar.

He has cautioned the bread sellers not to block the access to the market to avoid action.
