Body found in nullah at Calangute
MAPUSA: An unidentified body was found in a decomposed condition at a nullah in Agarwaddo-Calangute on Sunday.
On receiving information, a police team led by Calangute PSI Vidhesh Pilgoankar went to the site and recovered the body with the assistance of a fire brigade from Pilerne.
The body was later sent for an autopsy at the Goa Medical College and Hospital. Police suspects that the deceased was in his mid-thirties and may have drowned in the nullah.
Calangute police is investigating the case.
