A new digital platform was inaugurated by Supratim Bandhyopadhyay, Chairman, Pension Funds & Regulatory Authority of India (PFRDA) in presence of A K Das (MD & CEO) Bank of India, Swarup Dasgupta (Executive Director, Bank of India), M Karthikeyan (Executive Director, Bank of India), Monika Kalia (Executive Director, Bank of India) who joined from their corporate office, Mumbai. Among the other attendees, also were the Executive Director, A G Das, PFRDA and CGM, Mono Phunkar from PFRDA along with GM, D S Shekhawat, Government Business Department, BOI and Mukesh Sharma, ZM, New Delhi, BOI and K-fintech team. Bank of India on Friday has given a major boost to its commitment towards the National Pension Scheme (NPS) by launching its digital mode for NPS in association with K-fintech. Customers can now open the NPS account hassle free on their mobile by simply scanning the QR code. The process is simple, fast and completely paperless making it easier for the customers to open the new account in just a few clicks. Supratim Bandyopadhyay, Chairman, PFRDA said, “We are happy to announce that Bank of India has launched its digital mode in association with K-fintech for new NPS registration. I believe that this digital initiative by the Bank will compliment our efforts in a dynamic way in realising our vision of pensioned Indian society. I wish them all the success in their endeavour”
