The Goa Football Association on Saturday announced the season's fixture for 2022-2023. The new season will start with the curtain raiser “ the Charity Match between champions Dempo Sports Club and runners-up Salgaocar Football Club on August 15 at Duler Stadium, Mapusa (4 pm kick-off).
The calendar for 2022-2023 is as follows: 1. Taca Goa U-20 First Division / Second Division League - 16/8/2022-9/9/2022 (1st Div), 2. GFA Futsal Championships - 1/9/2022-31/10/2022, 3. GFA 3rd Division League - 16/8/2022-31/10/2022, 4. GFA U-18 First Division / Second Division League - 1/11/2022-31/12/2022, 5. Vedanta Women's League - 1/9/2022-15/10/2022, 6. Charity Match - Dempo SC vs Salgaocar FC - 15/8/2022, 7. Goa Professional League 2022-23 - 10/9/2022-31/5/2023, 8. GFA 2nd Division League - 1/11/2022-15/1/2023, 9. GFA First Division League - 16/1/2023-30/4/2023, 10. GFA U-16 First Division/Second Division League - 17/9/2022-30/11/2022, 11. GFA U-14 First Division / Second Division League Boys - 17/9/2022-30/11/2022, 12. GFA U-14 Girls League - 17/9/2022-30/11/2022, 13. Beach Football - April 2023.
Clubs have been asked to intimate the championships they intend to participate in as per the eligibility and make the payment of the appropriate fees up to August 6. The Executive Committee has decided that those clubs, provisional or permanent, who have not renewed their registration, could do so up to July 25 with payment of late fee. Meanwhile the Executive Committee has decided to implement the change in the Laws of the Game pertaining to five substitutions from August 15.
