The Division bench which will sit from Monday to Wednesday will hear all civil writ appeals, all public interest litigation cases and other civil matters not assigned to any court.
Justice Jamdar graduated from the University of Mumbai, practised at the Bombay High Court in civil, criminal, labour, service, constitutional, tax, matrimonial, company and public nterest litigation on both appellate and original sides. He was appointed as standing counsel for Bar Council of India, Solapur Municipal Corporation, University of Solapur and various other authorities besides also having represented the Bar Council of Maharashtra and Goa and served as Advocate for Bombay High Court as well as special counsel for Union of India.
He was elevated as Judge of the Bombay High Court on January 23, 2012.
Bombay HC at Goa to get a new judge
Judge of the Bombay High Court Justice Nitin Jamdar will be posted to the Bombay High Court at Goa presiding over the Division Bench along with Justice Nutan Sardesai no sooner the court resumes after the Diwali vacation.
