Briton assaulted at Colomb

CANACONA: A Briton was injured after he was assaulted by an unknown person at Colomb, Canacona.

According to Canacona police, Richard Loverly (20) of England, who is residing at Ourem-Palolem in Canacona complained that he had been assaulted with a knife and sustained cut injuries to his chin.

The Briton said he was attacked by an unknown person on a bridge at Colomb-Canacona at 10.30 pm on Saturday.

Canacona police is investigating the case.

Body found in nullah at CalanguteMAPUSA: An unidentified body was found in a decomposed condition at a nullah in Agarwaddo-Calangute on Sunday. On receiving information, a police team led by Calangute PSI Vidhesh Pilgoankar went to the site and recovered the body with the assistance of a fire brigade from Pilerne.
