Burglary at Marcela house
PONDA:Burglars broke open a house at Marcela and decamped with cash and gold ornaments worth about Rs 1.70 lakh.
According to Ponda Police, Khusha Purshottam Naik from Dherem Devlay, Khandola-Marcela, complained that the burglary took place sometime between May 22 and 29, when no one was at home.
The police said the burglars entered the house by break opening the main door and decamped with two gold chains, six rings, a bracelet, two bangles and cash of Rs 5000, all worth about Rs 1.70 lakh.
Police registered an offence under Sections 454, 457 and 380 of Indian Penal Code and is investigating the case.
