In late night operation, Calangute panchayat sealed two premises which were allegedly running dance bars in the village.
Three Kings and Devil’s both operating as clubs/dance bars in Kobra-vaddo were sealed by the panchayat late Monday evening.
Calangute Sarpanch Joseph Sequeira informed that the panchayat is very firm against acting against illegal activities in the village and the sealing of the dance bars was testimony to it.
“Calangute panchayat will not tolerate any such nonsense activities in the village. We will go after all such illegal dance bars. We request the villagers to take up good business activities and not fall prey to illegal business activities,” Sequeira said.
