A calf with two heads was born at a farm at Maina-Curtorim owned by former Zilla Panchayat member, Moreno Rebello on Sunday.
This is perhaps the first time that a calf with two heads is born at the Rebello farm. “The birth took place at around 9 pm on Sunday. We will inform the veterinary doctor on Monday morning informing them about the birth. Normally, calves with two heads do not survive for more than a month,” he said.
Moreno, who was the Congress candidate for the Curtorim Assembly constituency, said many people believe that a calf with two heads brings good omen and is even being worshiped in the country.
