A 38-year-old native of Andhra Pradesh expired in his sleep in a rented room at Shristhal-Canacona on Sunday night.
According to Canacona police, Mahadev Mugali Behara was found dead in his rented room at Shristhal. After conducting the post-mortem, the body was handed over to his relatives who took the body to his native place. Police have registered a case of unnatural death. According to police reports, Behara suffered a massive attack and died in his sleep.
Meanwhile in another incident, Gajanan Bandekar rammed his car into a tree at Partgal-Canacona in a self accident. Luckily, the car driver and other occupants in the car escaped with minor injuries, while the the car (GA-09-A-5939) suffered some damages.
