At a block meeting in the Shristhal panchayat hall, Canacona MLA and Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar along with Canacona BJP Mandal President Mahesh Naik asked the workers to visit each household in the constituency to highlight the government’s achievements during the last four years.
Accordingly, the Block BJP decided to visit each household in all 52 polling booths of Canacona constituency, beginning March 13 after the BJP government in the state completes four years in power on March 9. Pamphlets of government achievements will also be distributed to households. “Some of the manifesto promises that are pending will be fulfilled during the remaining period of the government,” Tawadkar informed party workers.
Most block committee members along with sarpanchas and some panchas of Shristhal, Gaondongrim, Loliem-Polem and Poinguinim were present at the meeting.
