CANACONA
As many as ten schools in Canacona achieved a 100% pass rate in the SSC Board Examinations 2026, the results of which were declared on Sunday. These include PM Shri Government High School, Gaval-Khol, along with two other Government high schools.
PM Shri Government High School, Gaval-Khol, recorded a 100% result in the Goa Board SSC Examination (March 2026), with all 24 students passing.
The other two Government schools with perfect results are GHS Gaondongrim, where all 16 students passed, and GHS Shristhal, where all 10 students cleared the examination.
Among the aided schools, those with 100% results include Shri Mallikarjun Vidyalaya, Char-Rasta (41/41), Shri Nirakar Vidyalaya, Mashem (38/38), Shri Damodar Vidyalaya, Loliem (39/39), Shri Shradhanand Vidyalaya, Poinguinim (27/27), St Anne’s Institute, Agonda (53/53), St Sebastian High School, Loliem (21/21), St Anthony High School, Galgibaga (46/46), and GES’s Gurukul High School, Kajumol-Khola (26/26).
Balram Education Society’s Shree Balaram Residential High School, Amone-Poinguinim (53/54), and Balram-A Day Care School, Mokhard-Shristhal (23/24), missed a perfect pass rate by just one student each. Similarly, Shri Nirakar Education Society’s Tudal High School, Tudal-Gaondongrim (37/38), also fell short by one student.
Other schools that performed well but did not achieve 100% results include St Theresa of Jesus High School, Chaudi (52/57), which had the highest number of candidates in the Canacona centre, Shri Katiyani Baneshwar Vidyalaya, Kindlem (47/49), GHS Agonda (18/19), GHS Sadolxem (19/21), and GHS Khotigao (17/19).
Overall, 606 out of 627 students who appeared for the March 2026 SSC Board Examinations from the Canacona centre passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 96.65%. Five students were placed under ATKT, while ten were declared NI.
