Panaji police has booked a car driver for rash driving and endangering life after a personal security officer of a High Court judge complained about it.
The incident happened on June 8 evening when a HC judge Prithviraj Chouhan was proceeding in his four-wheeler from Panaji to Altinho. When he crossed circuit house and reached near the military base, the accused driver with his vehicle came speeding in front of the judge’s vehicle.
The driver of the judge had to apply sudden brakes which prevented the accident. The police traced accused Shantanu Tayade and booked him under section 279 of the IPC.
