A Konkani song by a parish youth and a documentary on the Caranzalem parish were among the celebrations to mark the Feast of Our Lady of Rosary Church at Caranzalem was celebrated on October 10.
The Novena was conducted by wards in the parish, with a Rosary at 6 pm followed by Mass.
The Feast Mass was celebrated by Fr Henry Falcao at 9.30 am on October 10 on the theme ‘Like Mother Mary, we too may be Jesus’ witnesses’. In his homily, Fr Falcao elaborated that faith is a gift, and like Mother Mary, it is to be cherished and zealously spread in all situations.
Later, a procession of Mother Mary's statue, mounted on a decorated jeep, passed through all wards and colonies of the parish, with people reciting the Rosary and singing hymns in praise of Mother Mary.

In the evening, the young and old got together for a tie-breaker. The day concluded with the recitation of the Rosary, around a decorated Grotto of Our Lady of the Rosary, at the fountain beside the Church.
