CARES Scheme takes first steps for Special Schools

The Coding And Robotics Education in Schools (CARES) Scheme took its first step in extending the scheme to the Special Schools in the state of Goa; Sanjay Centre for Special Education, St. Xavier Academy and Lokvishwas Pratishthan Special.

A two-day ‘Capacity Building Programme for Special Educators “ Divyang Students’, for 20 Special Educators and Computer Teachers began on April 5 at the Computer Room, Goa Rajyakar Bhavan, Altinho.

The session is being conducted by the Training Team of the Project Management Unit (PMU), Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Project Officer “ Megha Nayak, Teacher Nazima Beig, Teacher Sonal Vaze and Teach For Goa Fellows Shrey Naik and Prasidhi Fal Desai.

The Special Educators were trained on computational thinking skills, computational practices, block based coding by implementing plugged and unplugged activities in line with NEP 2020.

PANAJIThe All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists (AIOCD) has written to All State Drug Controllers/Food and Drug Administrators to issue directives to take action against e-pharmacy (selling medicines on internet).
