Pledging his support to Manohar Parrikar in the upcoming by-polls, Goa Forward's Vijai Sardessai stated, "No other candidate is better suited as the CM of the state besides Manohar Parrikar". He also added that the casinos in the river Mandovi was not the main issue in the elections and is already included in the common minimum programme.
The newly joined member Babush (Antanasio) Monserrate was also present during the press conference and affirmed that his corpoators are supporting Parrikar; "Mr Parrikar has not asked me too campaign, but wll definitely extend my support if needed."
