Crime Branch sleuths on Wednesday descended at the offices of the banned Popular Front of India at Fatorda and Margao.
The sleuths led by DySP Suraj Harlankar were holed up at the two offices for quite some time. They are believed to have conducted a search for documents during their visit to the two offices.
The two offices of the banned PFI had come under the scanner of Salcete Mamlatdar on September 30, days after the Centre had banned the organization.
In fact, Salcete Mamlatdar had on September 30 conducted an inventory at the PFI offices at Chandrawado-Fatorda and Margao.

The Centre had in late September last banned the PFI across the country along with its affiliate organizations, following which the Goa police had detained and arrested 29 PFI members in South Goa. They were all later released after executing personal bonds and furnishing two sureties.
