CCMC also discussed the issues of parking and footpath encroachment during the budget meeting. It was decided to take a major decision on the issues of parking and footpath encroachment in the next council meeting.
The council decided to impose garbage fee soon, and it will be collected either monthly or annually. The decision in this regard will be taken in the next council meeting.
The issue of pay parking was also discussed. The councillors said it was important to implement pay parking to curb haphazard parking. During the discussion, it was observed that if pay parking was implemented without identifying parking spaces and having less space for parking in the town, there could be quarrels.  Later, CCMC decided to convene a joint meeting with the traffic police Curchorem and come up with a solution to the issue. A special agency may be appointed by the council to collect parking fee in near future.
CCMC decided to take strict action on footpath encroachments, which are on rise. The council will also intervene and see the operation of GSUDA market and will see that tax is collected and things are put in place in GSUDA market.
