“Bismarque has a family and their opinion should also be sought in the matter. He was not an orphan,” informed Fr Pereira, while adding that he spoke to Bismarque’s brother, Mario, who is working in Dubai, and he has not agreed for the burial to take place.
“I spoke to Mario and he is against conducting the burial. He has also informed that he would challenge the order of the GHRC and get a stay,” Fr Pereira added.
The Goan also spoke to some villagers, who were also of the opinion that the burial should not take place against the wishes of family members.
