Chloe Furtado felicitated
PANAJI: Chloe Maria Furtado of St Mary of Angels High School Chinchinim with a score of 531/600 stood first among the students of schools of Chinchinim village.
She was awarded Eng Gabriel S Rodrigues Scholarship till completion of science degree course. She also receives 19 other prizes instituted under PCTrust. Chloe is a sportswoman and has participated in Squay Martial Arts at taluka, district, State and national level.
Kavlekar is Bhati acting sarpanchTHE GOAN NETWORKAGASSAIM Deputy Sarpanch Digambar Kavlekar will be the acting sarpanch of Bhati Panchayat. In an order, Panchayat Director Gurudas Pilankar stated that Kavlekar will be the acting sarpanch till Bhati panchayat gets a new sarpanch. It may be recalled that sarpanch Silia Fernandes resigned from her post on June 22.
