Christmas prog for MMC workers
VASCO: As part of week-long Christmas programme, Mormugao Municipal Council (MMC) on Tuesday organised a programme for the workers and their children at the council courtyard.
The MMC staff made a crib and also conducted various programmes for the staff members.
An entertainment programme comprised of games and contests. MMC Chairman Deepak Naik, Chief Officer Deepali Naik, MMC engineer Diniz De Mello and some councillors took part. A magic show was also organised.
Later, the children and workers were given sweets by the chairperson and chief officer.
“This is a yearly event and Christmas time is the best time, as it creates a feeling of togetherness and everyone, irrespective of their position, gets involved in the programme,” said Naik speaking to The Goan.
