Sawal available at Latambarcem
BICHOLIM: Locals of Latambarcem in Bicholim taluka will now have better access to their local MLA, with Bicholim MLA Naresh Sawal deciding to make himself available at Latambarcem Panchayat office every Monday to listen to public grievances.
Speaking to local reporters, Sawal said he had decided to visit the Latambarcem Panchayat office to interact with locals in the village.
Responding favourably to his initiative, a large number of people met the MLA at Latambarcem Panchayat office on Monday.
The locals put forward different issues pertaining to development and social awareness. The problems raised by the villagers included difficulties faced by them due to improper printing of new ration cards, speedy health services, traffic, water and frequent power cuts problems.
The villagers also brought to the notice of Sawal the nuisance caused by tourists in Sal Bandhara area and other surrounding tourist spots.
After listening to their grievances, Sawal assured the villagers to look into the matter and solve their problems as soon as possible.
