Churchill, wife discharged from hospital

Benaulim MLA Churchill Alemao and wife Fatima who were admitted to the Manipal Hospitals after testing positive for Covid, have been discharged.

After the discharge, the duo returned to their Varca residence on Wednesday.

Churchill and wife had tested positive for Coronavirus around 20 days ago last month before they got themselves admitted to the Manipal hospitals. The husband-wife duo was soon discharged from the hospital and advised home isolation, but was soon re-admitted in the hospital for treatment.

MAPUSAA 50-year-old destitute died of Covid in the North Goa District Hospital in Mapusa even as over 60 new positive cases were reported in Bardez on Wednesday.The destitute man who was lying on one of the footpaths of a building was shifted to the district hospital on Tuesday afternoon.The doctors on duty pronounced him brought dead.A post-mortem report of the man revealed that he was infected with the novel coronavirus.In the meanwhile, Mapusa urban health centre reported…
