After successful editions in Panaji and Margao, the third edition of City of Cycle 2019 will take place in the port town of Vasco on Sunday, May 12.
A Fomento Media initiative, the event is aimed at promoting a healthier and fitness-conscious lifestyle.
With an emphasis on promoting fitness through fun, City on Cycle 2019 will encompass a 10-km route starting from Tilak Maidan, Vasco, at 6 am and culminate at the same point. Through the fun through fitness ride, the cyclists will pedal their way through the town.
Ahead of the flag off, instructions on traffic safety will be issued by officials.
Close to thousand cyclists are expected to feature at the event open for all with on-the-spot entries welcome from 5 am onwards.
The early bird registration fee is nominally priced at Rs 500 with the first 1000 participants guaranteed a T-shirt and a sipper. The event is expected to conclude by 9.30am.
