PANAJI: Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant has extended his greetings to the people of Goa on the occasion of the Feast of St Francis Xavier, celebrated across the State with great devotion.

He wished a “very happy feast” to devotees in Goa, outside the State and across the globe, and highlighted the unity and harmony the occasion inspires as thousands gather in faith.
Dr Sawant said the novenas leading up to the feast help prepare devotees spiritually for the celebration. He noted that many Goans from the diaspora return home especially for the feast, making it a time of family and togetherness.
