The students will not only learn basics of computer operations but also will be able to empower themselves for possible careers in this lucrative field.
Among those present at the occasion included NL Vhatte (director, Value Added Business, Vedanta Limited) along with the school PTA members, school management committee, teachers and support staff and school students.
Addressing the gathering, the chief minister said the initiative by Vedanta will help students by providing them with basic knowledge about computers and their usages. “This skill is absolutely critical and very vital in today’s technologically driven world. I extend my appreciation towards Vedanta for their continued efforts towards the socio-economic upliftment of our community.”
“I strongly appeal to our youth to make use of this facility to develop themselves as technocrats to such an extent, so that they can explore the best of employment opportunities not only in Goa but also other parts of the country and abroad,” said Sawant.
